Description
The Multi-Point Reinforcing Strike Kits are installed on the door jamb to properly align and secure the PanoLock tapered bolts or the Trilennium deadbolts. The door jamb will need to be specifically routed to fit the reinforcing strike plates.
- Strike plates are to be installed above the reinforcing plates, providing a clean appearance along the door jamb.
- Reinforcing plates are positioned behind the strike plates to guide the bolts into proper alignment, ensuring a smooth operation throughout the life of the PanoLock or Trilennium Multi-Point Locking System.
- The dust box is positioned behind the reinforcing plates, providing a debris-free area in which the bolt is received.
- If you currently have the Reinforcing Strike Kits for Trilennium® Multi-Point Lock installed, these updated reinforcing strike plates are not compatible with the existing door jamb routing.
