Returns & Exchange Policy
Here at BetterDoor.com, we offer you free step-by-step guides, how-to videos, and plenty of other resources because we want to help you have a BetterDoor for your home! Our team is available to help you find the perfect product to fix your door problems. We want to help you find just the right product, so please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you have. Then you can have a BetterDoor even faster! Reach out to us via chat, phone, or email and our team will be happy to guide you through the purchasing process.
You may return most new, unopened items within 60 days of delivery. We’ll pay for the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. For items not eligible for Free Returns, a restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Restocking fees are determined by each product’s shipping tier, as outlined below under “Return Pricing.”
Please note, products must be returned in the original packaging in like-new condition with all parts included before your refund will be issued.
If you receive an incorrect order due to an error on our part, please follow the return process outlined below, and we will waive the return shipping fee.
- Returned products are subject to inspection prior to issuing a credit.
- Some products must be returned in less than 60 days.
- Custom products cannot be returned to BetterDoor.
Once we receive your email, we will send you a return shipping label for you to ship the product back to to BetterDoor.
Due to the various weights and sizes of our products, BetterDoor uses a three-tier system to determine shipping prices for return items.
Smaller items, primarily shipped in envelopes.
Return shipping price: $3.00
Medium size items.
Return shipping price: $7.50
Oversized items, typically individually packaged in long tubes or oversized boxes.
Return shipping price: $25.00
We do our best to process your order as quickly as possible, which is generally within 48 hours. If you need to cancel, please reach out to us within 24 hours of placing your order so we can process the cancellation before your order ships. If your order has already been processed and/or shipped, you will need to follow the return policy, as outlined above.
