You may return most new, unopened items within 60 days of delivery, after 60 days the item is no longer eligible for return. We will pay for the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. For items not eligible for Free Returns, a restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Restocking fees are determined by return shipping costs plus 10% of the price for each item returned. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. International orders are not eligible for returns.
Upon return, BetterDoor will have 2-3 business days to inspect all items for damage. Any items that, because of customer negligence, misuse or tampering are, damaged, missing parts, or in unsellable condition, will not be accepted for return. Any items found to be damaged, missing parts, or in unsellable condition due to customer negligence, misuse, or tampering will not be accepted for return.
Please note, products must be returned in the original packaging* in like-new condition with all parts included. All returned products will be inspected before your refund will be issued.
*If the original packaging is not suitable for return, please send a photograph of the return shipment in new packaging to firstname.lastname@example.org. This ensures any damage experienced during shipment will not be deducted from your return.
Bulk Orders: Any bulk orders returned are subject to a 25% restocking fee, in addition to the return shipping fees. BetterDoor reserves the right to increase or decrease such charges based upon materials considered for returns.
Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If you received the wrong product in your shipment, or if the shipment was damaged in transit, please send a photo of the damaged product and packaging within 30 days of delivery to email@example.com. We will review the photos with our fulfillment team and rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
Some items are built to fit a specific set of dimensions before they ship. These items are considered customized and cannot be returned.
Order Cancellation Policy
We do our best to process your order as quickly as possible, which is generally within 48 hours. If you need to cancel, please reach out to us within 24 hours of placing your order so we can process the cancellation before your order ships. If your order has already been processed and/or shipped, you will need to follow the return policy, as outlined above.
Refusal of Shipment
If a customer refuses a shipment or delivery of an order, the order will still be considered a return and will follow the policy outlined above.
- Returned products are subject to inspection prior to issuing a credit.
- Some products must be returned in less than 60 days.
- Custom products cannot be returned to BetterDoor.
- International orders cannot be returned to BetterDoor.
- Once we receive your form submission, we will send you a return shipping label for you to ship the product back to BetterDoor.
